So I have been modelling for about 6 months now, havent been taking it all that seriously but thigns seem to throwing themselves at me which makes me think this could go somewhere interesting and it has, one of those interesting things is an over the top, pretentious, rude, arrogant and not so selfullfilling event known as a fashion show. Ive done one of these before, but this one, as im told is rather a “big deal”, its Irelands biggest and is produced by the same people who do London fashion week (hopefully a foot in the door over there).
But when I think of fashion shows (which I rarely do) I think kinda of people fashioning clothes, with spectators watching either nodding or disagreeing with the design so that they can make judgements about “next season” themsevles, apparently not. I cannot stress just how bizarre what im wearing is, im not even going to call it clothes. Basically I dont know how fashion showa make money, the things I have to wear nobody would buy, if the audience knew what I had to wear they wouldnt buy a ticket, yet they are paying 1,000 euro for four days work, I just baffles me why anybody would want to coem and see this. Yet with all this people are saying in my ear “oh isnt this lvoely!” lovely for what? Now if you dont know me let me set some record straight, im pretty liberal with clothes, if people take risks even if I dont liek them I tend to see it was a positive thing, but if somebody wore what I had today, just hanging out with their mates outside londis, id most likely crack a disapproving look or a wise remark which often happen to me at Tara street station (sorry if you dont get the Dyblin lingo).
These pictures should explain my speechlessness
